Terms and Conditions of Use of “The Engineers CV”

Introduction

1.1.By placing an order with The Engineers CV (the trading name of Adelent Global Ltd. and from here on in referred to as “ The Company "), you, (from here on in referred to as “ The Client ”) agree to accept the following Terms and Conditions.

1.2. The Company reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice, and The Client's continued use of services following any change shall be deemed to be acceptance of such change. It is the responsibility of The Client to check the Terms & Conditions of Use regularly for changes. If The Client does not agree with any change to the Terms & Conditions of Use, they must immediately stop using the services provided by The Company.

1.3. Furthermore, The Clients access to and use of theengineerscv.co.uk and other web sites owned by The Company are subject exclusively and strictly to the Terms and Conditions.

1.4. No contract subsists until The Company accept The Client's order. The Company may choose not to accept an order for any reason. The Company reserve the right to withdraw any goods/services at any time. All prices are subject to change at any time prior to a contract being entered into and are subject to change without notice. The Company will not be liable to The Client or anyone else for refusing to accept an order, withdrawing any goods/services or changing any prices.

1.5. The Company retain the right to revoke The Client's right to continued use of services at their discretion.

1.6. These Terms & Conditions of Use shall be governed by the laws of England and The Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.

The statutory rights of the Client are not affected by any of these terms, conditions or policies.

Placing an Order

2.1. All orders will be processed within 72 hours, unless otherwise agreed by mutual agreement between The Company and The Client.

2.2. Payment is required in full with all orders . At the discretion of The Company, in some circumstances the right is reserved to allow time for bank clearance of cheque payments.

2.3. If The Client is paying by credit/debit card, the card will be debited on acceptance of the order so as to ensure that sufficient funds/credit are/is available in the account.

2.4. All credit/debit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of The Clients card refuses to authorise payment, The Company are not liable for any delay or non-delivery and are not obliged to inform The Client of the refusal.

2.5. Should a suspected error be made in billing The Client's credit/debit card, The Company's policy is to provide a full and immediate refund, pending further investigation by the management.

2.6. The Company reserves the right to terminate any contract due to offensive behaviour from a client. Offensive behaviour is defined as aggressive or abusive behaviour towards an employee of The Company.

2.7. All prices are fully inclusive of VAT for customers based within the EU, including the UK.  No charge is made in respect of VAT for customers based outside the EU.  Please note that The Company is not responsible for any other importation taxes, sales taxes or charges that may be levied at the delivery destination.

Delivery

3.1. Completed orders are only despatched upon written acceptance of the draft(s) sent.

3.2. The Client should allow 7- 10 working days from the date of despatch for any package to arrive within the UK. Oversees client delivery times are subject to mutual agreement and will depend on circumstances at the time an order is made.

3.3. The Company cannot accept any liability for late deliveries.

3.4. The Company cannot accept liability for any importation taxes, sales taxes or charges that may be levied at delivery destinations outside of the EU.

3.5. In the event that The Company are unable to deliver goods within 30 days, The Client will be notified accordingly and alternative arrangements for delivery will be made by mutual agreement

3.6. These terms and conditions also relate to documents and files transmitted by email. The Company does not accept liability for late delivery of emails or for the failure of emails to arrive due to the potential for external email issues to occur beyond the control of The Company.

Service

4.1 The service provided by The Company is to assist in advising The Client of how to present their professional Curriculum Vitae and to offer advise regarding an employment interview. The Company will accept no liability for any subsequent failure by The Client to secure employment.

4.2. The Client warrant that all information provided to The Company is honest, accurate and up to date and that should any changes to the information occur, The Client will notify The Company immediately.

Website & Email

5.1. The Company reserve the right to alter or remove (temporarily or permanently) any aspects of The Engineers CV web site without notice to The Client, and The Company states that that no liability will be held to them following any such alterations.

5.2. The Company does not guarantee that the web sites will meet the requirements of the Client or that it will be free from error and defects. Neither is The Company able to guarantee the site and/or the server making the site available are free of viruses or bugs.

5.3.. The Company is not responsible or liable to The Client for any loss of material uploaded or transmitted through The Engineers CV web site.

5.4.. All emails and attachment(s) sent to and from the Company are confidential. If an email is received by a party who is not the intended recipient, The Company request they are notified immediately and that the email is deleted and not copied or disclosed to any other party and that its contents are not used.

5.5.. The Company is not responsible for the content of emails, which may or may not contain personal views. Information contained within emails does not reflect the views and opinions of The Company unless specifically stated.

5.6. Internet communications are not secure and may be intercepted.

5.7. All links on The Engineers CV web site relating to third party web sites are provided solely as a source of information and are not endorsed or approved by The Company. The Company do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided at external Internet addresses. The Company is also not responsible for the terms, conditions, policies or security of 3 rd party web sites.

5.8. The Client acknowledges and agrees that all copyright, trade marks and all other intellectual property rights in all material on The Engineers CV web site, site design, structure and graphics and all software and source codes connected with the web site shall remain at all times vested in The Company or its licensors. The Client is permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by The Company.

5.9. The Client acknowledges and agrees that the material contained within The Engineers CV web site is made available for only for personal non-commercial use. The Client may only access, view, copy and/or print pages from the web site for the sole purpose of evaluating whether to and/or placing an order with The Company. Any other use of the material within the web sites is strictly prohibited. .

Limitation Liability

6.1.The Company's liability is limited for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when any contract was made, for losses that were not caused by any breach on our part and for business losses and/or losses to non-consumers. It is limited for loss of data, loss of profits, cost of cover, or other special, incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages however caused and regardless of theory of liability. This limitation will apply even if we have been advised of, or are aware of, the possibility of such damages.

Furthermore, nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of The Company's agents or employees.

Indemnity

7.1.The Client agrees to fully indemnify, defend and hold The Company and The Company's officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, reasonable losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms & Conditions of Use by The Client or other liabilities arising out of The Clients use of The Company's services and web sites.

Severance

8.1.Each provision of these Terms & Conditions shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any one part shall not affect the validity of any other part. This is subject only to the provision that where a particular term(s) is/are declared void, under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999, the contract will only continue to bind the parties if it is capable of continuing in existence without the unfair term(s).

The Company reiterates that the statutory rights of The Client are not affected by these terms, conditions or policies.
